Kölbel Edelbrände und Whisky

The Kölbel family runs a farm with a focus on the production of brandies, liqueurs, whiskies and gin. The house brand and specialty, the "Kraxados", is an aromatic apple brandy that matures in oak barrels. After the Kraxados, the first whisky of the Bucklige Welt is allowed to rest in these barrels in the cellar vault. This creates the particularly fruity note. The Kölbel family now produces various types of whisky, such as single malt and spelt, as well as numerous other fruit brandies and liqueurs. The fruit for this comes from old, high-stemmed fruit trees from their own garden.

Guided distillery tours and commented tastings are offered by appointment for those interested in enjoyment. The premises offer space for tastings for bus groups and on a small scale.
