Hochneukirchen-Gschaidt

Description

Every day is a gift!

Hochneukirchen-Gschaidt is not above the clouds, but just below them, on the "roof" of the Bucklige Welt at 500 to 900m above sea level. What a far-reaching view you have here at the "Eastern Cape of the Alps" over the humps that run into each other on the horizon, far beyond the borders into five countries. Here, in the heart of the Bucklige Welt, time sometimes pauses, you will find peace and quiet and a still intact nature with diverse animal and plant species. The air is cooler here and the weather is more noticeable than in the floodplains. The hot summer days in the valleys and plains are pleasantly cool and breezy with their fragrant meadows. The bright, colorful autumn with its overflowing fruit trees is so clear, and the snow-covered paths and trees covered in hoarfrost are a dream in winter. All this makes Hochneukirchen-Gschaidt a place worth living in, where it is wonderful to get away from it all. There are treasures to be found here: Time, tranquillity, seemingly limitless views in unspoiled nature and the warmth of the residents.

The village center is home to a gourmet filling station with a wide variety of products from direct marketers and local artisans as well as the starting point for the new adventure hiking trail with Bakabu - especially for children - to the Hutwischwarte.

Cultural events with selected artists take place three times a year on the upper floor.
