A vision

Since December 2023, a new inn has been shining in the center of Hochneukirchen, which not only promises culinary delights, but has also become a lively hub for the community. It was founded by a committed cooperative, which was set up by local residents and received a great deal of encouragement.
The aim: a pub that serves as a lively meeting place for young and old as well as providing food and drink.

Everything WIRT well!

After extensive renovations, the inn now shines in new splendor and invites locals and guests to spend a few pleasant hours together over a good meal. Nestled in the landscape of the Bucklige Welt, the inn is also an ideal starting point for hikes and exploratory tours through the surrounding nature, such as up the Hutwisch.

Everything IS good!

The inn also welcomes clubs, family celebrations and cozy "Bummerl-Schnapser" parties with open arms. People come together here to laugh, celebrate and enjoy life. The spacious event area is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to accommodate a wide variety of events.

The restaurant's gastronomic concept focuses on regionality, health and sustainability. The kitchen spoils guests with fresh, regional ingredients that are selected responsibly. The menu combines refreshing creations with traditional dishes, bringing the taste of the Bucklige Welt to your plate.

The first floor is completely barrier-free to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests. A separate play area is available for younger guests.

In the midst of tradition and modernity, the inn offers an inviting atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.

As a certified bike partner, the Wirtshaus in Hochneukirchen offers top-quality, bike-friendly service - from secure parking spaces and e-bike charging stations to balanced meals for active guests. Information on tours, repair assistance and excursion destinations is also available on site. So every stopover is a pleasure.

Whether by e-bike, mountain bike, touring bike or on foot in the Bucklige Welt: a variety of tours and hiking trails await you around the Hutwisch (896 m) through fragrant meadows, shady forests and to panoramic hilltops - ideal for families, nature lovers and connoisseurs. All year round, s'Hutwisch offers a varied program: around 20 different events, from culinary highlights to cultural experiences and sociable celebrations - there is something for every taste. Whether "Bartholomäuskirtag", "Wildwochen" or the atmospheric "Oktoberfest" - special moments are guaranteed with us.

Our fried chicken day has long since become a fixture for many guests - popular, well attended and always a treat. Every Thursday (except on public holidays) we serve you this classic dish while stocks last. Our tip: If you want to secure your fried chicken in advance, it's best to book in advance.

From Monday to Friday (except on public holidays) we spoil our guests with a varied weekly menu. Every day we offer a delicious 2-course lunch menu. You can choose between two delicious dishes for the main course - so there is something for every taste.

Our value vouchers are not just a gift, but a real treat - flexible to use and available in any amount. Whether as a thank you, a birthday present or just because: the vouchers can be conveniently purchased directly at the restaurant or ordered online and printed out at home.
