Walpersbach
Description
The feel-good community of Walpersbach
In the foothills of the Bucklige Welt towards Steinfeld, on the edge of the extensive "Kuhwald" forest, lies the village and municipality of Walpersbach with the cadastral communities of Klingfurth and Schleinz.
This idyllic landscape has always been appreciated by the nobility as a place of peace and tranquillity. The classicist Schleinz Castle standing in a beautiful park is one of these contemporary witnesses. Unfortunately, it is privately owned. The Walpersbach parish church is well worth a visit. The Marienkirche, completed around 1718, has one of the most beautiful altars in the area.
Welcome to the Klingfurth recreation village
If you want to get away from it all, this is the place for you. Rural idyll around the Hendling family's guesthouse. An oasis of peace and tranquillity. The surrounding area is a place for "mushroom hunters" and "stargazers".
