Currently closed, detailed information here: www.alpakafarm-lechner.at

The Lechner alpaca farm in Bromberg is situated in a quiet location in the middle of the hilly landscape. Visitors can get to know a variety of animals with lots of interaction. In addition to alpacas and llamas, the farm is also home to wallaby kangaroos, zigzag sheep, mini Shetland ponies, nandus, mini pigs, Greek tortoises, rabbits, dwarf and mini pygmy goats, mummies, ferrets, chickens, tree squirrels, parakeets, emus, quails and domestic donkeys.

Excursion destinations in the Bucklige Welt offer various activities:

  • Alpaca hikes: Guided tours of around 1.5 hours in length, suitable for all ages and also accessible with baby carriages.
  • Farmyard tours: The farm is explored with a feeding bucket. You can experience the animals up close and even enter the enclosures. There is a stamp rally for children with a small surprise at the end.
  • Children's birthday parties: Specially designed programs for animal-loving children that are adapted to their age and include activities such as alpaca walks, kangaroo feedings and chipmunk encounters. Food, drinks and cotton candy are included and there is even a bouncy castle available from March - October.
  • School on the farm: Educational programs for school classes that offer insights into life on the farm and how to interact with animals. Special and inclusive schools are also very welcome.
  • Animal encounters: Individual experiences for groups of up to four people, where kangaroos and chipmunks can be fed and observed - with a little luck and patience, they can even be stroked.

There is also a farm store selling handmade alpaca products such as hoods, scarves, cushions, blankets, socks and soaps.

There are also seasonal events throughout the year, such as a children's carnival, an Easter hunt and an animal fans' summer camp.

Excursion destinations can be partially accessed with a wheelchair, but a second person is required. A barrier-free WC is under construction.
