Hackl´s Schofstoi

Description

Everything to do with sheep! At Hackl's Schofstoi in the middle of the 1000 hills in Krumbach in the Bucklige Welt, you will be greeted by the sheep themselves, which have their pasture and run around the farm. Christoph and Manu Hackl run their farm with a lot of love and enthusiasm and create delicious products. Christoph's enthusiasm for sheep was awakened when he was a teenager - at the beginning, however, there were only two sheep that found their home here. Now there are over 100 animals of various breeds enjoying the green humps and lush grass in Krumbach. Christoph, a trained butcher, is responsible for the meat processing and takes care of sausages and raw ham, while his wife Manu has dedicated herself to milk processing and conjures up yoghurt, butter, curd cheese and soft and hard cheese from the delicious milk. Sheepskin in a wide variety of colors is also produced. The products are available from the farm, but also in some of the surrounding stores.

Under the motto: "Stay on the sheep's trail!", the Hackl family is also happy to show families and groups around their farm. You can get an insight into the sheepfold, the work and care of the sheep and, of course, taste the delicious products on site!
