Tiere am Keltenberg

Animal adventures

Description

The animals on the Keltenberg
The Keltenberg invites you to take a walk and visit a wide variety of animals. You will find free-roaming peacocks as well as rabbits, goats, alpacas, emus, pigs, Cameroon sheep, geese and chickens.
The paths are suitable for baby carriages and there are barrier-free toilet facilities at the Johann-Giefing viewing tower. Access to the animals is free of charge.

Tip in the surrounding area
The Schwarzenbach Archaeological Open-Air Museum gives visitors an insight into the life of the Celtic population. The museum has been made permanent and parts of the Celtic town have been rebuilt. A 2-euro coin is required to enter the open-air museum (turnstile).

Tower café
A café with a spacious, shaded terrace has been built in the lower part of the observation tower. It mainly serves products from direct marketers from Schwarzenbach and the surrounding area.
