Mühlenloipe Hochneukirchen-Gschaidt

The Mühlenloipe in the Hochneukirchner Au is a typical valley trail and therefore easy to master even for beginners and less experienced cross-country skiers. The difference in altitude from the highest to the lowest point is only 70 m. The Mühlenloipe takes its name from the six mills that once operated along the Hochneukirchnerbach stream from its source to the Styrian border.The Mühlenloipe is currently 10 km long and can be used free of charge. When there is enough snow, cross-country skiing courses are held for beginners and advanced skiers.

Since the 2004/05 season, cross-country skiers have been able to use the new cross-country ski trail snack bar at the Rodlmühle as a place to stop for refreshments and socialize, with changing facilities and ski hire. Take your time and enjoy the cozy hut atmosphere in between!
