Pfarrkirche Ofenbach

The church of St. Veit is located slightly away from Ofenbach. The parish church, which is administered by the parish of Lanzenkirchen, can be reached via Kirchenweg.

The church was probably originally built in the 12th century as a Romanesque building. It was later extended and given typical fortified features around 1500. This can still be seen in the Gothic-style church today. If you are looking for an idyllic setting, this is the place for you. The church still manages without electricity and its secluded location on the hill makes it a truly famous place of tranquillity, with views as far as the Schneebergland.
