Pfarrkirche Scheiblingkirchen
Church, Historical sites
Description
The former Romanesque church was heightened with a defensive storey with embrasures in the course of the 1st reconstruction work. The design of the masonry shows traces of battlements. This suggests that this elevation was originally designed as a crenellated crown with an internal battlements and was only later used as a support for the conical roof. The round building often arouses interest because of its vaulted shape.
