You can experience the powerful forces of nature up close at the wind turbine in Lichtenegg. There is a viewing platform right next to the wind turbine. The viewing platform is located directly below the nacelle, which can be reached via 300 steps. On the fully glazed platform, you can watch the rotor blade as the wind energy is converted into rotary motion. There is also a panoramic view of the Wechsel, the Schneeberg, the lowlands to Wiener Neustadt and, on clear days, you can even see as far as Lake Neusiedl.
