Burg Seebenstein

Seebenstein Castle is estimated to have been built between 1180 and 1230. It is privately owned, but is nevertheless a popular destination for hikers. You can admire the castle keep, the castle chapel and a museum inside the castle, where some art objects and real treasures have been collected.

A hike to Seebenstein Castle can easily be combined with the Türkensturz. The Milestone Trail leads to both Excursion destinations and is easily accessible by public transport via Seebenstein train station.
