Route description Buchberger Way (Warth-Petersbaumgarten-Kaltenberg)

Marking white/green/white

Starting point at the chapel, through Quellengasse to the reservoir of the Ursula spring, right into the forest, steep uphill to Rotte Bernreith, continue to Kienegg (shortcut: turn left to "Kaltenberger Weg") to Kaltenberg with Pilgrimage Church Maria Schnee and Gasthaus Neumüller. Follow signs to Warth, marking from Kaltenberg to Warth white/blue/white.

The highest point at 852 m, the Kaltenberger Höhe, is reached shortly after Kaltenberg. Downhill via Windhoh (summit cross and hikers' book), shortly after a left shortcut back to Petersbaumgarten is possible. Past the lookout rock and climbing rock "Gretel", continue steeply down to Warth (refreshment options under author's tip, drinking water fountain at the main square).

Return to Petersbaumgarten via EuroVelo 9 with a rest area at the Pittenwehr or via Weghof through the forest.
