Rest and listen to concerts
The spa park really blossoms in spring and summer on well-surfaced, mostly asphalted paths. (Parents and grandparents can take a break while the children play in the playground. The narrative benches and books tell stories from the 1000 hills, which can be listened to alongside the gentle sound of leaves and streams. Cheerfully quacking ducks frolic in the pond and there are free concerts in the music pavilion throughout the summer.
A leisurely stroll through the park naturally also includes coffee and ice cream specialties from the Kurkonditorei.
Fabulous Lower Austria
Once a year, Bad Schönau is the venue for the Austrian International Storytelling Festival - Fabelhaft Niederösterreich. Benches and giant books in the spa gardens tell the story. Benches with a strange and very special appearance each tell their own story about Folke Tegetthoff and the large books tell stories about the whole world.
Public transportation
From Vienna or Graz to Wr. Neustadt main station. From there, take the Aspangbahn to Edlitz-Grimmenstein station, then take the regional bus to Bad Schönau B55/exit Ort. From there it is about 10 minutes on foot.
