The Rosalia circular hiking route connects the spa communities (Katzelsdorf, Lanzenkirchen, Walpersbach, Bad Erlach, and Pitten) with Wiener Neustadt. In addition, all starting points are excellently accessible by public transport.
Description
Deceleration is called for; the hike in the Rosalia Mountains offers plenty of variety and many answers to the question of why it is also called the "land for connoisseurs".
The route can be done in one, two, three, or more days depending on interests and physical condition and is signposted in both directions. Due to the large number of gastronomy and accommodation establishments, a variety of route options are possible.
An attraction just a few steps from the Rosalia circular hiking route is the 15-meter high observation tower Lanzenkirchen/Wiesen, which offers a breathtaking view over the Bucklige Welt and the nearby Alps. In addition, there are other viewpoints, various museums, and nature experiences.
