Bike the Bugles – the name says it all. Almost all mountain bikers know the renowned and traditional MTB marathon in Krumbach, which partly runs over the course of the same name.

This route leads from Krumbach up over the Kühriegl, Ransdorf, Purgstall, and Tiefenbach back to Krumbach.

Route description Bike the Bugles route
We start the route in Krumbach in the Bucklige Welt. We follow Kirchengasse and Knappenhofweg. At the Hubertus Chapel, we turn slightly right and follow the path. We arrive at Ransdorf and follow the road to Purgstall. We keep left and turn right at the next intersection. We follow the road and come to a path. At the Buchegger guesthouse in Tiefenbach, we return to the road. We go straight ahead and then keep right. We arrive at Untertiefenbach and turn right after about one kilometer. We follow the path straight ahead to the Rosenkranz Chapel and turn right onto Tiefenbachstraße. We return to the starting point in Krumbach.
Directions
Coming from Vienna, take the A2 to the Krumbach exit. Then follow the road to Krumbach.
Coming from Graz, take the A2 to the Zöbern/Aspang exit. Then head towards Zöbern and continue to Krumbach.
Parking
Parking available at the Raiffeisen Bank, in town, and on the outskirts
Take the train from Wiener Neustadt to Edlitz-Grimmenstein and from there continue by bus to Krumbach.
