Details for: Circular hiking trail K3 Schafferhof - Gösswald

Brief description

In 2 hours, you explore the nearby surroundings of Edlitz in the Bucklige Welt via the circular hiking trail over the Schafferhof and Gösswald.

Description

From the town center past the rectory of the late Gothic fortified church Edlitz, the initially ascending hiking path leads along a so-called hollow way past the Schafferhof into the Gösswald. Here, the path continues comfortably through the Gösswald along the forest road up to the Wiedner Landesstraße. Then follow the Wiednerstraße downhill through Hofstatt to the Kirchschlager federal road, where you turn right towards the town center. In the town itself, you can relax and refresh yourself after a pleasant hike at the guesthouse "Grüner Baum". A visit to the beautiful late Gothic fortified church in Edlitz as well as the interesting and informative introductory documentation of the Wehrkirchenstraße is also worthwhile. In Edlitz begins the Wehrkirchenstraße "Bucklige Welt" which leads past the beautiful fortified churches of Krumbach, Hochneukirchen, Bad Schönau, Kirchschlag, Lichtenegg, Hollenthon, Wiesmath, Hochwolkersdorf, Bromberg, Lanzenkirchen and Katzelsdorf.
