The town center of Edlitz, with its good infrastructure, is an ideal starting point for hiking and walking paths. A visit to the beautiful late Gothic fortress church in Edlitz and the interesting and informative introductory documentation of the Fortress Church Trail is definitely worthwhile. The fortress church trail "Bucklige Welt" starts in Edlitz and passes the beautiful fortress churches of Krumbach, Hochneukirchen, Bad Schönau, Kirchschlag, Lichtenegg, Hollenthon, Wiesmath, Hochwolkersdorf, Bromberg, Lanzenkirchen, and Katzelsdorf. The Königsberg hike passes not only the fortress church but also the outdoor pool. On hot summer days, you can cool off here.
