Details for: Circular route K2 Bindergraben - Schafferhof

Brief description

In 1.5 hours, the circular route over the Bindergraben and Schafferhof explores the immediate surroundings of Edlitz in the Bucklige Welt.

Description

A visit to the beautiful late Gothic fortified church in Edlitz as well as the interesting and informative introductory documentation about the Fortified Church Route is a must. The Fortified Church Route "Bucklige Welt" starts in Edlitz and leads past the beautiful fortified churches of Krumbach, Hochneukirchen, Bad Schönau, Kirchschlag, Lichtenegg, Hollenthon, Wiesmath, Hochwolkersdorf, Bromberg, Lanzenkirchen and Katzelsdorf. On the circular route to Schauerberg you are already partly on the Fortified Church Route. Over Schauerberg you approach Thomasberg where the route partially overlaps with the Fortified Church Route cycle path.
The hiking route initially leads from the center along the B55 to the Wieden - Amlos junction, from here it continues along the Bindergraben to the Schafferhof and then follows the marking back to the starting point in Edlitz. Back in the village, after a long hike, you can rest and refresh again at the inn "Grüner Baum".
