Route description Ödenkirchner Weg (Warth-Haßbach)

From the village square in Haßbach uphill via the Burgweg to the natural monument "Bildlinde" (blue marking). Above the ruin Haßbach, the path leads west past the old settlement Berg. Here you find the natural monument "4 Lindens". To the west, a cherry tree avenue toward Steyersberg Castle can be seen. At Koglhof, a short stretch along the municipal road, then through the forest, you soon reach Ödenkirchen. Here there is a good view of Rax and Schneeberg. The Landgasthof Fally offers good cuisine and rooms. On the way back, you first take the Höhenstraße toward Hochegg (yellow marking). The Marterlweg now runs parallel. Then you reach the hamlet Schaffernak with views of the Wechsel area. Further via the Urbankapelle it goes downhill (green marking) to the hamlet Reisach and to Hosendorf (good view), through the forest and past the Türkenkreuz to Molfritz. The local cider tavern of the Ungersbäck family is open several times a year. Several orchard avenues have been defined as "protected habitats in the market town of Warth." Via the municipal road (blue marking) the starting point Haßbach is soon reached again through the forest.
